QDK series Swing clamp cylinder is a horizontal rotary clamping cylinder (also known as a rotary pneumatic cylinder). Unlike the QCK model\u2014which descends while rotating\u2014the QDK maintains a constant height during rotation (zero vertical travel during the rotary phase) and only performs the vertical clamping stroke after rotation is complete; it is designed primarily for use in tooling fixtures within confined spaces.<\/p>\n

Operating Principle:
\n1. Horizontal Swivel Phase: The swing arm rotates 90\u00b0 within a single horizontal plane; the piston rod height remains unchanged, allowing the arm to clear the top of the workpiece.
\n2. Vertical Clamping Phase: Once rotation is complete, the piston rod moves vertically downward\u2014a short stroke of 5 mm\u2014to clamp the workpiece.<\/p>\n

There is no mechanical self-locking mechanism; the clamp releases upon loss of air pressure, so a continuous air supply is required to maintain clamping force. Clamping force is generated only during the downward stroke; the arm cannot exert clamping force during the rotation phase.<\/p>\n

Planar rotary structure: The rotary motion is completed at the same horizontal level\u2014meaning the vertical travel during rotation is zero.<\/p>\n
