BSC Series Clamping Cylinder

It belongs to a derivative series of the SC series standard cylinder, combined with a locking mechanism.
It enables locking and stopping at any intermediate position within the stroke.
A rational locking mechanism is employed, ensuring that the locked state is independent of the direction of piston movement.

The BSC Series Clamping Cylinder is a pneumatic cylinder assembly comprising an aluminum alloy cylinder barrel and end caps, a #45 high-carbon steel piston rod, and a compact clamping mechanism.

It offers various unlocking methods, including pneumatic unlocking and manual unlocking.

The structure is simple, locking and unlocking are rapid and effective, and state switching is stable.

The clamping mechanism is highly integrated and occupies no additional space.

Installation and Usage

The locking device can only engage after the cylinder has come to a complete stop; it cannot be used to brake the piston rod while it is in motion. If this device is utilized within a control system subject to safety requirements, additional safety measures must be implemented.
The locking mechanism can only be released when the forces on both sides of the piston are balanced or when the cylinder has come to a halt; otherwise, sudden movement of the piston rod could result in an accident.
