JSI Series Standard Cylinders

The cylinder barrel of this pneumatic cylinder features a star-shaped profile, is tie-rodless, and offers excellent corrosion resistance.
The cylinder barrel wall features a groove for mounting magnetic switch sensors.
The front and rear end covers feature adjustable air cushioning.
The piston seal features a profiled, bi-directional sealing structure that is compact in size and incorporates an oil-storage function.
Compared to ISO 15552 standard cylinders, the JSI series standard cylinders feature a shorter length for the same bore size.

The JSI is a compact, standard pneumatic cylinder designed by AirTAC in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standards (JSI); it features a tie-rodless construction and a star-shaped aluminum barrel. Primarily intended as a replacement for Japanese-made equipment (such as SMC and CKD), it offers a shorter overall length compared to ISO-standard cylinders of the same bore size.
