RMTL series rodless air cylinder

  • Magnetically coupled rodless cylinder: There is no mechanical connection between the piston and the carriage, ensuring excellent sealing performance.
  • Piston movement is transmitted to the external carriage via magnetic coupling; eliminating the need for a piston rod saves installation space and allows for a longer maximum stroke compared to standard cylinders.
  • Fixed cushioning is provided at both ends of the cylinder, ensuring smooth, shock-free directional changes and preventing mechanical damage; an optional external hydraulic shock absorber can be added for superior cushioning performance.
  • The piston chamber is isolated from the carriage, preventing dust and debris from entering the system and extending the cylinder’s service life.
  • Dual guide rod structure: Offers high guiding precision and the ability to withstand certain lateral or eccentric loads.

RMTL series rodless air cylinder is a magnetically coupled, rodless pneumatic cylinder featuring dual guide rods; it differs from standard cylinders with piston rods and from steel-band mechanical rodless cylinders.
Its structure consists of an integrated three-rod profile: a central main cylinder barrel flanked by two parallel guide rods, with a central sliding aluminum block serving as the mounting platform for the load. The end caps feature integrated air ports and built-in rubber cushions, with the option to install external hydraulic shock absorbers; slots along the side of the cylinder body accommodate magnetic switches for detecting the slider’s position.
The RMT utilizes copper alloy sliding bushings in a metal-on-metal dry sliding configuration.
The RMTL employs recirculating ball linear bearings on the guide rods, utilizing rolling friction to ensure minimal frictional resistance.

Available in magnetic and non-magnetic versions.
