RMTL series rodless air cylinder is a magnetically coupled, rodless pneumatic cylinder featuring dual guide rods; it differs from standard cylinders with piston rods and from steel-band mechanical rodless cylinders.
Its structure consists of an integrated three-rod profile: a central main cylinder barrel flanked by two parallel guide rods, with a central sliding aluminum block serving as the mounting platform for the load. The end caps feature integrated air ports and built-in rubber cushions, with the option to install external hydraulic shock absorbers; slots along the side of the cylinder body accommodate magnetic switches for detecting the slider’s position.
The RMT utilizes copper alloy sliding bushings in a metal-on-metal dry sliding configuration.
The RMTL employs recirculating ball linear bearings on the guide rods, utilizing rolling friction to ensure minimal frictional resistance.
Available in magnetic and non-magnetic versions.
Magnetically coupled structure: There is no mechanical connection between the piston and the slider, resulting in excellent sealing performance.
Cushioning Type: The cylinder features fixed cushioning devices at both ends, ensuring smooth, shock-free directional switching and preventing mechanical damage; an optional external hydraulic shock absorber is available for enhanced cushioning performance.
Dual guide rod structure: offers high guidance accuracy and can withstand certain lateral or eccentric loads.
Sealing performance: The piston chamber is isolated from the slide block, preventing dust and contaminants from entering the system and extending the cylinder’s service life.
Flexible and space-saving installation: The cylinder can be mounted via both its top and bottom surfaces, requiring less installation space than standard cylinders while offering a longer maximum stroke.
