TWG series Stopper Cylinder: Height-adjustable, double-acting stopper cylinder; flange-mounted with a cylindrical body; designed specifically for stopping applications at assembly line stations.

Operating Principle: When air is supplied, the cylinder piston rod extends to block the workpiece pallet or carrier moving along the conveyor line, thereby positioning and stopping it at the workstation; when the air supply is cut off, the piston rod retracts, releasing the carrier.
Available in two versions: double-acting and single-acting (retraction-type):

1. – Double-acting: Air pressure on both sides controls extension and retraction.
2. – Single-acting (retraction-type): Air pressure causes retraction, while a spring automatically extends the rod to the blocking position when the air supply is cut off.

Various rod end types available: cylindrical (C), flat cylindrical (B), roller (R), and lever-type roller with adjustable hydraulic shock absorber (K).

A self-locking mechanism is available as an option: the lever-type roller stopper cylinder is equipped with a self-locking device that prevents the rocker arm from rebounding and pushing back against the blocked object.

A thickened piston rod effectively enhances the cylinder’s resistance to impact.

Can be equipped with a magnet (magnetic ring).
