A cylinder’s thrust depends primarily on air pressure and bore size. Under standard operating conditions with 0.5 MPa pressure, we have reference values for standard thrust; the extension thrust is greater than the retraction pulling force. If you provide the operating air pressure, I can calculate the exact force for you to ensure it is sufficient for smooth, stall-free operation.
They are different. When the cylinder extends, the full bore area is subjected to pressure, resulting in greater force; during retraction, the piston rod occupies part of the area, reducing the effective pressure area, so the pulling force is slightly less than the pushing force—this is a standard characteristic.
Non-standard custom strokes are available; standard short-stroke models are well-stocked, while extra-long strokes can be customized. Please refer to the technical specifications table above for detailed data.
Supports a full range of standard mounting styles: foot mount (LB), front flange (FA), rear flange (FB), single clevis (CA), double clevis (CB), and trunnion mount (TCM). Mounting dimensions and hole patterns are fully interchangeable, allowing for direct replacement of major brands such as AirTAC, SMC, and Festo without equipment modifications.
Components can be selected based on actual application requirements. For automated control, a magnetic pneumatic cylinder must be chosen to detect the extended and retracted positions, thereby facilitating automatic equipment control.

The entire series comes standard with adjustable air cushioning at both ends; the cushioning force can be regulated based on equipment speed and load, effectively reducing impact forces at the end of the stroke, preventing collisions and abnormal noise, protecting both the equipment and the cylinder, and ensuring smoother operation.
The standard operating pressure range is 0.15–1.0 MPa, with a maximum pressure rating of 1.0 MPa, ensuring stable sealing without air leakage. The minimum actuation pressure is just 0.1 MPa, allowing for smooth operation even under low-pressure conditions, free from stick-slip or binding.
Standard cylinders are not recommended for prolonged exposure to lateral forces or off-center loads; they are best suited for straightforward linear push-pull movements. If your equipment involves lateral forces or eccentric loading, I can recommend cylinders with guide rods or suggest adding a guiding mechanism to prevent issues such as piston rod deformation, air leakage, or jamming and damage.
This can be resolved in three ways:
① Adjust the built-in cushioning at both ends of the cylinder;
② Install pneumatic speed control valves to regulate intake and exhaust speeds;
③ For heavy-load applications, install hydraulic shock absorbers;
This completely eliminates impact and abnormal noise, resulting in more stable operation.
Standard models are suitable for general indoor operating conditions. For environments involving moisture, high humidity, or light dust, options are available to upgrade to stainless steel piston rods and corrosion-resistant seals. For cleanroom applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, custom clean-grade versions can be provided—featuring rust and dust resistance and high corrosion resistance—or dust-resistant cylinders can be selected.
Prolonged exposure to moisture and oil accelerates seal aging and shortens cylinder lifespan. It is recommended to install a filter and an oil-water separator at the inlet; purifying the air supply in this way can significantly extend the cylinder’s service life and ensure long-term leak-free operation.
There is a difference. Horizontal mounting ensures even load distribution and minimizes energy loss; however, in vertical lifting or pulling applications, the load directly affects the output force, so it is necessary to select a cylinder with a larger bore size to avoid insufficient lifting power or sluggish movement.
The cylinder barrel is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, offering a lightweight design, resistance to deformation, and excellent heat dissipation. The piston rod is crafted from high-frequency quenched, chrome-plated 45# steel, ensuring high hardness, wear resistance, and rust protection, while remaining resistant to scoring and bending. Customization using 304 or 316 stainless steel is also available.
Standard units come equipped with wear-resistant NBR seals, offering excellent elasticity and airtightness to prevent leakage during long-term use; for demanding operating conditions involving high temperatures or oil exposure, upgrades to FKM (fluoroelastomer) seals—which provide superior heat and oil resistance—are available.
Under standard operating conditions—with a clean air supply and no off-center loading—it offers years of stable performance and a service life exceeding 3 million cycles. As long as it is not subjected to lateral forces and the air supply remains clean, issues such as air leaks or sticking are virtually non-existent.
