MK series Free mount cylinder is an upgraded version of the MD non-rotating cylinder; it is a square-profile, multi-mounting cylinder that allows for installation on all six sides. Featuring a built-in anti-rotation mechanism, the piston rod does not rotate during extension or retraction. It is designed as a direct equivalent to the SMC CQS non-rotating series.

Operating Principle:
Double-acting (MK): Air is supplied alternately to both ends, causing the piston to drive the extension and retraction of the piston rod; an internal anti-rotation pin mechanism locks the piston rod, preventing it from rotating.
Single-acting (MSK/MTK): Return movement is achieved via an internal spring; this type also features an anti-rotation function.

The MK series consists of multi-position fixed-type cylinders.
Multiple mounting configurations: axial front-end mounting, axial rear-end mounting, and lateral mounting on the left, right, bottom, or top surfaces.
The cylinder body features grooves for magnetic sensors, making the installation of sensors (magnetic switches) convenient.
Parallel mounting of multiple pneumatic cylinders: parallel fixation effectively saves installation space, with options for left-side or right-side mounting.

A variety of pneumatic cylinder specifications are available: MK (double-acting), MSK (single-acting, push type), MTK (single-acting, pull type), MKD (dual-rod, double-acting), and MKJ (dual-rod, double-acting with adjustable stroke).
